How To Change / Edit Command Shortcut Keys in AutoCAD

1. Enable the ribbon tool by typing ‘ribbon’ in the command prompt

2. Navigate to the ‘manage’ Tap

3. Select the ‘edit aliases’ tap

4. A notepad should open up displaying all the shortcut keys in autoCAD. Edit them carefully.

5. Remember to run ‘reinit’ in the command prompt and select the ‘pgp’ button to make your changes active without restarting

 

OR

 

1. Select the ‘tools’ menu

2. Click ‘customize’

3. Select ‘edit program parameters (acad.pgp)’

4. A notepad should open up displaying all the shortcut keys in    autoCAD. Edit them carefully.

5. Remember to run ‘reinit’ in the command prompt and select the ‘pgp’ button to make your changes active without restarting
